Membership Process

Payment & Registration

  • Pay the applicable non-refundable application fee.
  • Submit proof of payment to the designated email address.

Form Submission

  • Upon payment confirmation, you’ll receive a receipt and the IAPPA membership form.
  • Complete and return the form with all required documents.

Review & Approval

  • IAPPA reviews applications within 10 days.
  • If corrections are needed, applicants must resubmit within 5 days for a final review.

Eligibility for Membership

Membership is open to qualified companies meeting Nigeria’s regulatory standards for electronic invoicing. Eligible entities include:

Access Point Providers

  • Non-refundable application fee: ₦1,000,000.

  • Completed accreditation form

  • Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration with a minimum paid-up share capital of ₦10,000,000.

  • Company objectives must include e-invoice technology in the Memorandum and Articles of Association.

  • Letter of introduction from the company secretary.

  • Nigerians must hold at least one-third of the company’s shares (as per Section 13 (2) (d) of the Nigerian Start-up Act 2022).

  • Evidence of technical capability to serve as an Access Point Provider.

  • Submit a NITDA license copy within six months of registration.

System Integrators

  • Non-refundable application fee: ₦700,000.

  • Completed accreditation form

  • CAC registration with a minimum paid-up share capital of ₦10,000,000.

  • Company objectives must include e-invoice technology in the Memorandum and Articles of Association.

  • Letter of introduction from the company secretary.

  • Nigerians must hold at least one-third of the company’s shares (as per Section 13 (2) (d) of the Nigerian Start-up Act 2022).

  • Evidence of technical capability to serve as an Access Point Provider.

  • Submit a NITDA license copy within six months of registration.

Membership Duration and Renewal

Membership is valid for one year and must be renewed annually. Renewal approval is automatic provided:

  • The company maintains the required paid-up share capital.

  • There are no unresolved conflicts, including court cases.

  • The company meets all audit and regulatory requirements.
